David Potter – President DavidPotter

David has been a professional freelance designer in the arts and entertainment industry since 1975, involved in commercial theater, ballet, commercials, feature films and television. He has worked in over 400 theater productions as lighting designer, set designer, production stage manager, art director, technical director, master electrician, master carpenter and rigger. While working in New Orleans, David received two “Big Easy” Awards for Set Design and one for Lighting Design. David recently received the “Silver Beaver” award for his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America. The “Silver Beaver” is the highest award a volunteer in scouting can receive in this area

SuseSternkopfSuse Sternkopf – Artistic Director

Suse’s career has taken her from New York to LA, back to New York and now back to LA. She’s a founding director of Perry People (“A Pinter Pause”), The Next Stage Company and Fuller Company (where she’s directed “Thre3 Is Company”, “12 Angry Jurors”, and “Rabbit Hole” ), as well as a member of Shelter West Company, Point of You Productions (“Hurt So Good”), collaborations, and West Coast Ensemble, where she was a member of the Directors Unit and served as director of the Intern Program. She has extensive New York (Off­Broadway and Equity Waiver), Los Angeles and regional credits as an actor, playwright and director. Suse has a B.S. in Theatre, and has continued her theatre education with, among others, Bob Moss, Wynn Handman and Nikos Psakaropoulos. Her checkered past includes several years as a copywriter for CBS and several Madison Avenue agencies, and extensive experience in the music industry, including Atlantic and Warner Bros Records. She is currently Chief In Charge Of Everything at her own creative direction and photography enterprise, with clients in New York, Los Angeles, London, Glasgow, Toronto, Montreal, Cleveland, Austin and Baton Rouge.

Kathleen Campbell – Member at Large

KathleenCampbellKathleen Campbell has toured with THE SECOND CITY, Chicago. She improvises with THE ALL GIRL REVUE. They won the Boston WOMEN IN COMEDY FESTIVAL this spring and will perform at THE FRIARS CLUB, New York, this fall. Some TV credits include; THE DREW CAREY SHOW, STILL STANDING and ZOEY 101. She is a poet. She was the Wicked Witch in THE WIZARD OF OZ with the wonderful STEPPING STONE PLAYERS.

Nalani Coleman – Member at Large

IMG_9936Although no talent of her own, Nalani Coleman (BSM) is surrounded by talented family. Her son performed in the 2013 SSP performance of Oliver! as The Dodger and is the youngest Chorale member of California Philharmonic Chorale. Nalani’s father also performed in Oliver! with the show stopping line of “Murder, MURDER!!!” Nalani’s mother is also a member of the California Philharmonic Chorale.  Nalani loves being in the company of talented people and is looking forward to being a part of SSP board and helping where she can.

Allen Corben – Volunteer Coordinator

AC SSP Bio0409 0109-1bw-pAllen Corben is a founding member of The Fuller Company, where he’s appeared in <em>Anonimous</em>, <em>12 Angry Jurors</em> (Juror 3) and <em>The Value Of Names</em> (alternating as Leo and Benny). Allen has also recently appeared in <em>Man Of La Mancha</em>, <em>Jesus Christ Superstar</em>, <em>Godspell</em>, <em>Return To Forbidden Planet</em>, <em>The Importance Of Being Earnest</em> and, most recently, <em>The Music Man</em> for Stepping Stone Players. From 1992 to 2001, Allen sang with The MATZ, a Pasadena-based a cappella ensemble. He has a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Seminary, where he is the Assistant Registrar.
